Genomics: the study of genes and their function. Additionally, genomics aims to understand the structure of the genome, including the mapping of genes and sequencing of DNA. Modern genomics can be further defined to include gene alteration and the process of synthetic gene development.

Robotics: a branch of engineering that involves the conception, design, manufacture, and operation of robots.

Information technologies: the technology involving the development, maintenance, and application of computer systems, software, and networks to include the storage, retrieval, transmission, manipulation, processing and distribution of data often in the context of a business or other enterprise.

AI (Artificial Intelligence): the simulation of intelligent processes by machines, especially computer systems. Artificial intelligence includes programming computers for certain traits such as: knowledge, reasoning, problem solving, perception, learning, planning and ability to manipulate and move objects.

Nano technologies: the science and engineering of manipulating materials on an atomic or molecular scale to build functional systems (as robots) that can be used across all science fields, such as chemistry, biology, physics, materials science, and engineering.
